Tundish Impact Pad and Baffle

Impact pad is used in tundish to reduce the impact of incoming molten steel. lt is thus designed to enhance the stabilitof the casting system, improves the casting operator’s safety and extends the tundish’s service life. lmpact pads aredivided into two series: MA-spinel-based ones and magnesia-based ones according to diferent smelting processesservice life, etc.

Baffle is set in the middle of tundish and used to alter the flow of molten steel and purifies it by making harmful substancefloating to the surface of liguid steel. This product features good slag erosion resistance, high strength under hightemperature and long service life.
