The use of a slag dam can change the state of the flow of molten steel in the intermediate tundish, which will lead to a float of impurities and the purification of molten steel. A shock pad and protective pad can ensure the safety of the tundish during service and improve the service life. Slag dam, shockproof pad and protective pad, developed by KINGSTONE, have good resistance to slag erosion, high strength at high temperature and long service life.
The impact pads are divided into two series: based on MA spinel and based on magnesia in accordance with various melting processes, service life, etc.
These products are widely used in more than 30 steel mills, such as Lianyuan Steel, Linfen Steel, Xincheng Specialty Steel, Kunming Steel, Anyang Steel, Shagang and Suxing Specialty Steel, etc. In October 2002, the slag dam was approved by Henan Science and the Technology Committee and was awarded as the first award by the Henan Provincial Construction Department.
