Fused-Rebonded Magnesia-Chromite Bricks
Magnesian-chromite bricks with fused ribs are mainly made of fused MgO-Cr2O3 grains, formed with high pressure and sintered at an ultrahigh temperature. The products have good corrosion resistance and erosion resistance and are mainly used in the working lining of the lower groove and the charging aperture of the RH furnace alloy.
The products have been found in good condition in such markets as Hanbao-Steel (250 t RH furnace), Lianyuan steel (210 t RH), Xin steel (210 t RH furnace), Baotou (220 t RH) steel and US Steel (120 tons RH furnace), Russian Kiel tower (160 t RH oven), Russian Oswald Karl (180 t RH oven) and Russian MAANSHAN (300 t RH furnace) and other ferrous metallurgy plants for large and medium RH cabinets. The service life has reached the first level both in China and abroad.
